Most of the network I use is based on RJ12, there are 6-pins but only 4 of them are used.
RJ45
Between the first and second floor I had a RJ45 already in place so I made a small “converter” from RJ12 to RJ45…
DS18S20
I use a couple of DS18S20 to gather temperature.
